Bob is a partner of the firm and has over 25 years of experience in all facets of the equipment leasing and asset based lending industries. His practice is devoted to commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, corporate transactions and bankruptcy matters. He has particular experience in the documentation of financial transactions, enforcement of equipment leases and secured loans, as well as the negotiation of workouts and resolutions.
As a recognized leader in his field, Bob serves as a frequent speaker and author on various topics relating to the leasing industry, including actively serving as a regular speaker and moderator at annual and bi-annual conferences for the Equipment and Leasing Finance Association (ELFA) and National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA).
In addition to his daily practice, Bob also Chairs the firm’s Operations Committee where he spearheads the day-to-day administrative operations of the firm.

Affiliations
Mr. Cohen is a member of the National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA), serving on both its Legal and Education Committees and is also a member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA). In addition to his professional endeavors, he also dedicates his time to the Special Olympics of New York- Long Island Region, where he has served as a Chairman of its Annual Gold Coast Tour for Champions Golf Outing for the past nine years. Mr. Cohen has also been actively involved in working with high school students through the Herricks Chapter of DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), as well as with students from the Island Trees School District where he has served as a mentor on career and college choices.
