Bret Shapiro is a technical advisor in the firm’s patent practice group where he handles U.S. patent preparation, prosecution, and litigation.

Mr. Shapiro has over 10 years of experience in the chemical engineering industry. His areas of expertise include chemical engineering, physics, nanotechnology, chemistry, computer science, material science, medical devices, and packaging engineering.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Shapiro work for Bristol-Myers Squibb (formerly DuPont Pharmaceuticals), Pall Corporation and the Estee Lauder Companies.
