Eric M. Mencher joined the firm as a partner in April of 2000 and became of counsel to the firm in March of 2012.  Prior to joining Moritt Hock & Hamroff, Mr. Mencher was a partner with Horowitz, Mencher, Klosowski & Nestler, P.C.

Mr. Mencher has extensive experience in all phases of corporate and commercial matters including corporate formation and structuring, transactions, employer/employee relations and general commercial contracts. He has also established a reputation for negotiation on behalf of nationally known companies and local closely-held businesses. Mr. Mencher approaches his clients’ business and daily operations with a practical understanding and in turn provides attentive, well-rounded legal counsel.

Mr. Mencher began his career at the New York firm of Baer, Marks & Upham and then was an associate with the transactional firm of Feit & Ahrens. Next, Mr. Mencher was a founding member of the New York law firm Siller, Wilk & Mencher LLP, before joining Horowitz, Mencher, Klosowski & Nestler, P.C.

Mr. Mencher has written and lectured on various business issues and was most recently published in the Nassau Lawyer. In addition, Mr. Mencher has served as a Special Professor of Law at Hofstra University School of Law.
