Matthew D. Healey focuses his practice on a wide variety of commercial and residential real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing and financings. He represents developers, owners, holders, investors, buyers, and sellers of significant commercial properties, multi-family developments, cooperative and condominium units, and high-end residences.

Mr. Healey also handles general day-to-day corporate governance on behalf of cooperative and condominium boards, including preparing and negotiating architect and contractor agreements, shareholder disputes, and mortgage financings.

  • Represented building owner in the negotiation and creation of a prominent Manhattan multi-dealer retail center.
  • Represented regional real estate investor in refinancing a significant real estate portfolio.
  • Represented long term multi-generational co-owners of Manhattan property converted to a residential condominium.
  • Represented purchasers and sellers of cooperative and condominium units and private homes, including notable eastern Long Island luxury properties.
  • Negotiated agreements relating to the sale of development rights in various forms.
  • Represented foreign bank in leasing a significant midtown office.
  • Represented landlords and tenants in prime Manhattan retail leasing transactions.
