Dan Lust Panelist For Seton Hall Law School’s 3rd Annual Sports Law Symposium

Dan Lust will be a panelist at Seton Hall Law School’s 3rd Annual Sports Law Symposium “Sports in Time of Change” on February 15-16, 2023.

The two-day comprehensive conference will examine the force of change in sports, what is driving it and what the effects may be now and in the future.

Mr. Lust will join leading industry experts for a panel session titled “Professors on Ethics – Can A Lawyer Watch Sports and Still be Ethical?” Topics include: Potential conflicts or issues from the world of sports as interpreted by the Rules of Professional Conduct. Human Rights Abuses in 2022 World Cup in Qatar and Obligations of Major Global Companies and Attorneys to Report and Mitigate. Legal Sports Betting and Ethical Conflicts for Attorneys Including Point Spreads and Insider Information. Providing Safeguards for Women to Ensure a Safe and Bias Free Environment. Name, Image and Likeness (NIL), NCAA Rules, Reporting Obligations, and Confidential Attorney-Client Relationship.
