Gary Rosner, a partner of the firm, will serve as a speaker for the Florida Dispute Resolution Conference titled “DCR: Helping You Help Others Resolve Disputes” on August 4, 2023. The conference will take place virtually and features nationally recognized speakers, thought provoking and timely general plenary sessions, and a selection of individual workshops. The conference is eligible for up to 6.3 hours of CME including a minimum of 1.2 hours of mediator ethics for live attendance at the time of presentation and has also been approved by The Florida Bar for 6.5 general hours of CLE including 4.0 hours of legal ethics.

Mr. Rosner’s workshop “Self-Determination & Stalemates” will cover techniques in ethically breaking a stalemate. Topics include meeting with counsel without clients (with client’s consent) and recognizing the signs of a party who is not making decisions of their own volition/self-determination due to pressure, duress, or coercion.
