Leslie Berkoff, a partner of the firm, will be a panelist for a virtual brown bag lunch mediation program titled “When & How A Case Is Sent-A Quick Case Study” hosted by the Chapter 11 Lawyers Advisory Committee of the U. S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New Yok on July 27 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. EDT.

The program will explore in a brief vignette style with some discussion overlay, how and when disputes can be sent to mediation.  The panel members will discuss some of the concerns and questions that parties may work through in considering mediation as an option to resolve a pending dispute, while some of the Judges in the District will share the considerations they give in raising mediation as an option and the mechanics of the referral process.
