Michael Cardello III, Esq. Appointed Chair of NCBA’s Commercial Litigation Committee

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Garden City, New York; August 1, 2011—  Michael Cardello, a partner in the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP, has been appointed by the Nassau County Bar Association to serve as Chair of its Commercial Litigation Committee.

Mr. Cardello concentrates his practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation, and represents large and small businesses, financial institutions and individuals in both Federal and State Courts. He is a former law clerk for the Honorable Arthur D. Spatt, United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of New York, and currently serves on the Committee for Civil Litigation of The United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. In addition, Mr. Cardello is the immediate past Vice Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Commercial Litigation Committee and Chair of the Board of Directors for the Metro New York/Connecticut Chapter of the National Vehicle Leasing Association.  He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Long Island Council for Alcohol and Drug Dependence (LICADD) and is a Fellow of the Academy of Court-Appointed Masters. Mr. Cardello earned his J.D., M.B.A., and B.B.A degrees from Hofstra University.
