Michael Cardello III, Esq. Appointed To Nassau County Bar Association WE CARE Fund Advisory Board

GARDEN CITY, NY; July 12, 2016 —Michael Cardello III, a Partner in the Long Island office of the law firm of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP, was recently appointed by the Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) to serve on its WE CARE Fund Advisory Board.

The WE CARE fund is the nationally-recognized charitable arm of the Nassau County Bar Association. Founded in 1988 by NCBA Past President Stephen Gassman, WE CARE funds are raised by the legal profession and the community at large. The money is distributed through charitable grants to improve the quality of life for children, the elderly and others in need throughout Nassau County.

Mr. Cardello concentrates his practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation, and represents large and small businesses, financial institutions and individuals in both Federal and State Courts. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee as well as Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Group. Mr. Cardello is a former law clerk for the Honorable Arthur D. Spatt, United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of New York, and presently serves on the Committee for Civil Litigation of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.  In addition, Mr. Cardello is currently appointed to a number of cases as a Discovery Referee and Special Referee by Justices of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. He also mediates complex commercial litigation matters for cases pending in the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Mr. Cardello currently serves as Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Federal Courts Committee, and is also the former Chair of its Commercial Litigation Committee as well as a member of its Judiciary and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committees. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Court-Appointed Masters. Mr. Cardello earned his J.D., M.B.A., and B.B.A degrees from Hofstra University.
