GARDEN CITY, NY; June 23, 2021—Stephen J. Ginsberg, a Partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff, was recently was recently appointed to serve as Co-Chair of the Federal Procedure Committee of the Commercial & Federal Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association.

The mission of the Federal Procedure Committee of the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association is to comment on, and present to the public and interested observers’ issues concerning existing or prospective developments relating to practice in federal courts under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Federal Rules of Evidence.

Stephen Ginsberg is a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and also serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Covid Litigation Task Force.  His practice focuses on representing clients in complex commercial litigation.  He has successfully resolved disputes in Federal and State Courts and before arbitration panels involving: breach of contract; fraud; between and among trust beneficiaries and trustees; the RICO Act; business torts; fiduciary duty claims; real estate and construction claims; breach of post-employment restrictive covenants; between and among shareholders, members and partners of closely held companies; claims for violating the FLSA and NYLL. Mr. Ginsberg has extensive litigation and arbitration experience at all stages of the legal process, including strategy development, provisional/emergency relief (including temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and the seizure of assets), discovery, substantive and procedural motions, and representing clients at mediation, in settlement negotiations and at trial. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from New York Law School and his M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University.
