Terese L. Arenth Appointed To Board Of Directors Of The Women’s Financial Group

Garden City, New York; February 21, 2008—Terese L. Arenth, a partner in the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP, was appointed by the Women’s Financial Group to serve on its Board of Directors and as Chair of its membership committee.

The Women’s Financial Group is a professional association that works to promote, encourage and facilitate career development and advancement for women in the financial industry.

Ms. Arenth is a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice group where she concentrates her practice in the area of commercial and corporate litigation.  She also has significant involvement in the firm’s direct marketing, advertising and new media practice areas, as well as the intellectual property and unfair competition practice area.  Ms. Arenth is an active member of the Promotion Marketing Association and both its Government and Legal Affairs Council and NYC Chapter Committee.  She is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, serving on its Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation Committees, as well as a member of the Unfair Competition & Trade Identity Committee with the Intellectual Property Section of the American Bar Association and its Intellectual Property Law Section’s Special Committee on Promotions and Marketing Law.  In addition, Ms. Arenth is a founding member of Women on the Fast Track and is a member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association.  She has also served as a member of the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women and the Long Island Women’s Agenda.
