Terese L. Arenth, Esq. Appointed Vice-Chair Of ABA’s Special Committee On Promotion & Marketing Law

Garden City, New York; July 14, 2009— Terese L. Arenth, a partner in the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP, was recently appointed by the American Bar Association (ABA) to serve as Vice-Chair of its Special Committee on Promotion & Marketing Law, a sub-committee of the Intellectual Property Committee, effective July 30, 2009.

Ms. Arenth concentrates her practice in promotional marketing, advertising and Internet/new media, as well as commercial and corporate litigation. She also has significant involvement in the firm’s intellectual property and unfair competition practice area.  She earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.

Ms. Arenth is an active member of the Promotion Marketing Association and both its Government and Legal Affairs Council and NYC Chapter Committee.  She has served as a speaker and contributing author in connection with the Promotion Marketing Association’s Annual Law Conference.  She is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, participating in the Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation Committees, in addition to the ABA’s Unfair Competition & Trade Identity Committee with the Intellectual Property Section. Ms. Arenth sits on the Board of Directors for The Women’s Financial Group, in addition to serving as Chair of its membership committee.  She has also been named as one of Long Island’s Who’s Who in Women in Professional Services by Long Island Business News.
