Touro Law School Appoints Marc L. Hamroff, Esq. As Adjunct Professor of Law

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Garden City, New York; January 23, 2006 — Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law School has appointed Marc L. Hamroff, Managing Partner at Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP to serve as an Adjunct Professor of Law at its Huntington, Long Island Campus.  In this capacity, Mr. Hamroff will teach a course on UCC Article 9: Transactions during the law school’s Spring 2006 semester.

In addition to serving as the firm’s Managing Partner, Marc L. Hamroff also heads up the firm’s Financial Services Practice which includes the Bankruptcy, Equipment Leasing, Secured Lending, and Creditors’ Rights Groups.  He provides special concentration in litigation, and workout and bankruptcy matters nationwide.  In addition to his practice, Mr. Hamroff regularly provides educational and strategic seminars on a multitude of issues affecting the leasing and secured lending community and recently led a web based seminar for the Equipment Leasing Association which focused on bundled financing techniques and financing balance sheet driven collateral.  Mr. Hamroff presently serves on the Board of Editors of the Leaders’ Equipment Leasing Newsletter.  He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Bankruptcy Committee of the New York and Nassau County Bar Associations.  He also serves as a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Turnaround Management Association, and the Vehicle Leasing Association.  Mr. Hamroff also served as Chairman of the Legal Committee for the EAEL and was a member of the Legal Committee of the Equipment Leasing Association.
